After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Ohio State University, Kelsey worked for an Architect/Engineer firm for 7 years before branching out on her own to start KHID (Kelsey Heitkamp Interior Design). In 2019, Kelsey made the decision to expand the services from only commercial design into the residential world as well. Because of Kelsey's nearly obsessive need to always move forward, which can only be reigned in by her husband, the re-invention of KHID bloomed into what Burlwick & Co. is today. If she had any spare time, Kelsey would love to go to the gym and read books but she and Brad have 4 kids and spare time isn't in her vocabulary right now. She manages to sneak enough time for coffee, a 5 minute devotional, Netflix, and an occasional bourbon and Diet.

Owner

The brawn behind the beauty, Brad has worked beside Kelsey to build Burlwick & Co. throughout the years. He owns and operates a local construction company that consists of his 2 brothers and 2 other dudes that are like brothers. Brad's love for bourbon is showcased in Burlwick & Co.'s bar where you'll usually find him at "5:00" on Fridays along with anyone else who wants to hang around and sample the finest bourbons. He is a life-long Buckeye fan and for the last 20 years, he has made all of Kelsey's dreams come true.

Retail Associate

What began as a school internship quickly blossomed into a full-time role for Avery at Burlwick & Co. Now serving as our Retail Manager, Avery has gracefully expanded her responsibilities to oversee the day-to-day rhythm of the shop. From curating new products for the website to ensuring every corner of the store feels welcoming and beautifully kept, she brings a thoughtful, upbeat energy to everything she does. It’s no secret that Georgia, our sweet shop dog, adores Avery — and the feeling is mutual. Most days, you’ll find them together, side by side, adding a little extra warmth to the shop. When not working at Burlwick & Co., you can find her serving at The Bistro next door, as well as enjoying the company of her siblings, gently nudging them toward the idea of becoming part of the Burlwick & Co. story.

Interior Designer

Meet Paige - a Findlay local and proud OSU Alumni. Her love for design started at a very young age and she has loved finding outlets to express her passion along the years. She is most excited to join team Burlwick & Co because of their intentionality behind making spaces feel custom to each client, detail by detail. You can catch Paige in her free time walking Main Street with her husband (pending the temp, she’s a fair weather fan) , enjoying her front porch (typically with a coffee in hand) & hosting her family and friends for dinner and an always rowdy few rounds of euchre.
